We enroll children two years old to five years old and encourage each child to progress at his/her own pace. Our school days are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the spacious Stone House at Lindberg Park in Culver City, California. Early Drop-off is available at 8:30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Late Pick-up is available until 1 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Our school year begins in mid-August and ends in mid-June. We align our school year with the calendar used by Culver City United School District. We also offer summer camp in June and July.

TOURS!
Please contact our school director to inquire about touring the school. It’s recommended that you do not bring your child. We know it is often difficult to leave your children with a sitter during tours. However, our licensing and insurance only protects those children on site who are currently enrolled in our program. This will also give you the opportunity to focus on your needs and questions during the tour. Feel free to discuss your needs with our director before the tour.

Admissions Procedures
- There is a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $200.00 due within a month of accepting a spot for enrollment. The registration fee will be applied toward the first month’s tuition. There is a non-refundable $50.00 wait list fee due when sending in an application. The wait list fee will not be applied toward the registration fee.
- Tuition is due on the 15th of each month and is payable via Zelle or by check. Fees not received by the 26th will incur a late fee of $20.00 per month.
- Since La Playa is an educational child care program that is licensed by the state of California, we need to keep certain papers on file at all times. These forms include: membership contract, child’s pre-admission health history, physician’s report, family questionnaire, proof of car insurance, personal rights form, parents rights form, parent health screening report, identification and emergency information, consent forms and child abuse prevention pamphlet form. All forms MUST be completed and returned before your child can attend.
Tuition
La Playa is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit, and community-based preschool. Tuition provides the necessary income to meet expenses. Membership dues help pay for monthly parent education seminars and other events. Fundraisers are used for classroom and playground enrichment. The rates that are listed below are the monthly rate and is paid on the 15th of each month. In our 75+ years, La Playa has been committed to offering a competitive, nominal price for our families.
