Event Overview
Join us for an evening of music, art, and family fun at La Playa’s Winter Celebration: Red Carpet Dance Party!
This free, community-building event is open to all La Playa families and promises a festive night full of joy, creativity, and connection.
What’s Happening
- DJ & Dancing – DJ Fahad (Esad’s dad) will spin tunes for all ages
- Glow Art Station – Create glowing art with Ashley Brode
- Kids’ Art Showcase – See our students’ artwork displayed in frames
- Frames will be available for purchase as a fundraiser
- Artwork goes home with families
- Opportunity Drawing – Fun prizes for all ages (1 free ticket per attendee; extra tickets $5)
Make it a Night Out
We’ve partnered with restaurants in the same complex for extra fundraising opportunities:
- Urban Plates – 20% give-back (11 AM–9 PM)
- Jeni’s Ice Cream – 25% give-back (3–6 PM)
Families can grab dinner or dessert before or after the party while supporting La Playa.
RSVP & Commitment
To ensure the event is worthwhile, the board requests that at least 50% of families RSVP before we move forward. Your RSVP helps us plan an amazing celebration for the whole community.
Fundraising
All proceeds from frame sales and opportunity drawing go directly to support La Playa Cooperative Nursery School’s programs and initiatives.
